Mark Chandler is a lecturer in Law at Stanford Law School and a Fellow at the Deborah L. Rhode Center on the Legal Profession where he co-leads the Filing Fairness Project.
From 2002-2021, he served as Chief Legal Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Cisco Systems. In that role, he oversaw Cisco’s global legal activities and policies, as well as the ethics, regulatory compliance, and brand protection departments. In addition, he led the development of solutions to automate, simplify, and scale the legal support for Cisco’s operations, and anticipate future transactional needs in an era of dynamic transformation.
