The Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability is dedicated to creating a future where humans and nature thrive. The school draws together all areas of scholarship that are needed to understand and address sustainability. Those research areas are housed within academic departments including Civil and Environmental Engineering, Earth & Planetary Sciences, Earth System Science, Energy Science & Engineering, Environmental Social Sciences, Geophysics, and Oceans.
Stanford Impact Labs is a university-wide initiative established in the School of Humanities and Sciences. Faculty members, postdoctoral researchers, and PhD students in the Doerr School are eligible to apply for SIL's funding opportunities and programs.
