Hannah Melville-Rea is a PhD student at the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability, pursuing an interdisciplinary degree in environment and resources. Hannah is a Knight-Hennessy Scholar and she sits on the advisory board for Partnerships for Climate Justice in the Bay Area. 

As a Stanford Impact Labs PhD Fellow, Hannah collaborated with OneShoreline (the San Mateo County Flood and Sea Level Rise Resiliency District) to evaluate flood insurance needs in underserved neighborhoods and explore the potential for community-based flood insurance programs.
