Wei-ting Chen, PhD is the Executive Director of Stanford’s Food for Health Equity Lab and the Office of Community Engagement at Stanford Medicine. A sociologist by training, she has 15 years of experience working at the intersection of public health and sustainable food systems, with a goal of improving access to healthy food and health outcomes for low-income and socially marginalized populations.

She brings deep expertise in food systems, qualitative research, and building relationships across diverse sets of partners to ensure that research generates meaningful public good for those impacted by inequity.
