Vickie M. Mays is a Distinguished Professor of Psychology in the College of Letters and Science and Health Policy & Management in the Fielding School of Public Health at UCLA, where she also serves as a Special Advisor to the Chancellor. She is the Director of the BRITE Center for Science, Research & Policy where she served for over 15 years as the Director of a NIH-funded Center that focuses on disparities in the mental and physical health of racial, ethnic, and sexual minorities.
