Hi, I'm Sophie Allen. This summer I will be working with the Computational Policy Lab, collaborating with community partners to reduce failure to appear rates in criminal court through sending text message reminders and providing people with interventions--like a Lyft ride--to court. My summer goal is to complete a paper and policy memo explaining what I have learned through in-depth interviews with people who themselves have failed to appear in criminal court.
