Scott Rozelle is the Helen F. Farnsworth Senior Fellow at the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies, Co-Director of the Stanford Center on China’s Economy and Institutions Program, and a Co-Principal Investigator of the Piloting to Policy project, a Stage 2 Stanford Impact Labs investment. His research focuses on China and the economics of poverty and inequality, with an emphasis on rural education, health, and nutrition. By way of Stanford's Rural Education Action Program (REAP), he has led multiple field studies of interventional programs to improve human capital accumulation by targeting nutrition and parenting in early childhood.
