Robbie Bergstrom

Fellowship Project: Developing recommendations for community-involved town center rejuvenation. The combination of community input and economic data will allow staff to propose a strategy to stakeholders for development across Tuolumne County.

 

About Robbie: For over 20 years of his career, Robbie Bergstrom has had the opportunity to work with diverse groups in a wide range of fields. Among others, he has taught English as a foreign language to children and adults in Taiwan and Japan, run martial art and self-defense classes, and served the public as a child support officer, in elections administration, and now works to grow a stronger community through economic development for his county.

He has worked for the County of Fresno in the Department of Child Support and the Department of County Clerk/Elections. In 2015, he moved to Sonora, California to become the Assistant County Clerk for the County of Tuolumne, where he is now working to develop an economic development program which he hopes will serve as an engine for improving the economic well-being and health of his community.
