At JFF, she launched Students at the Center, an initiative that convened leading researchers and practitioners to build the evidence base for student-centered learning and translate research into actionable tools for educators and policymakers.

Rebecca is deeply experienced at evaluating impact at scale, having overseen multi-state mixed-method studies, four cycles of a research collaborative involving dozens of researchers and practitioners, and co-facilitated a coalition developing formative assessments. Her publications and roles on numerous advisory boards and committees, including CompetencyWorks, the Canopy Project, and Reinventing the Carnegie Unit, have contributed to national efforts to advance personalized learning and equitable education systems transformation.
