Rebuilding institutional trust: Growing alarm about democratic erosion and vaccine hesitancy both point to a broader challenge: rebuilding institutional trust. Trust in institutions (such as our electoral systems or our public health systems) is an essential part of the widespread cooperation required to protect our collective wellbeing. My research aims to develop and test approaches for rebuilding this trust and cooperation.
