Michelle Skoor

Michelle is a visionary leader and the founder of MWS Consulting, dedicated to driving workforce transformation initiatives throughout the United States. With a passion for creating a more representative workforce, Michelle specializes in forging connections between public and private partnerships.

In their most recent role as Chief Workforce Training and Delivery Services Officer, Michelle orchestrated the successful training of over 5,000 registered apprentices, paving their way into high-wage, high-growth technology careers. They implemented on-the-job competency-based skills training via a registered apprenticeship program, fostering growth alongside seasoned technologists within a SAAS-delivery organization.

Amidst the challenges posed by the pandemic, Michelle demonstrated remarkable leadership by swiftly establishing OnwardUS—a web and mobile-based resource. In collaboration with 10 states across the nation, this initiative connected millions of displaced American workers with essential life resources, training programs, and new employment opportunities.

Before spearheading MWS Consulting, Michelle played a pivotal role as the Vice President of the Tech Jobs Tour and Lesbians Who Tech + Allies. In this capacity, they utilized over a decade of experience in the technology industry to connect non-traditional talent with both public and private sector companies, contributing to the development of diverse teams.
