The world is making progress in reducing emissions but even optimistic projections suggest that we will face at least a 2-degree rise of global temperatures. Adapting to this warming will require action by everyone from individuals to firms to local governments and organizations all the way up to state and federal governments and international bodies. Professor Burke will collaborate with partners to identify and implement what works when it comes to climate adaptation.
