Mario Anaya

Mario Alberto Anaya is the Community Development Director at the City of Tulare, a small, but growing city of just over 71,000 residents in California’s agricultural San Joaquin Valley. Mario also serves as Secretary to the City’s Planning Commission. In a prior role, Mario worked as an environmental planner and project manager on major transportation, infrastructure, and institutional projects for clients including Caltrans and LA Metro.

Fellowship Project: Designing policy approaches that stimulate multifamily housing development for moderate to low-income households, in service of the City’s Housing Element implementation.
