Junjie Anderson Lu

2025 PHD FELLOW

Stanford Profile

Promoting equitable cancer prevention: Gendered barriers in cancer screening often lead to delays in diagnosis and care, especially for sexual and gender minority (SGM) populations. This summer, Anderson plans to develop a gender-neutral cancer screening tool using an interactive web application. Working alongside healthcare professionals and community members, the project will support inclusive and accessible screening practices that meet the needs of diverse populations.
