José Garcia

José García is an information services professional with a background in public libraries and a current focus on community engagement, strategic partnerships, and fostering staff development. He currently serves as Library Manager for the City of Palm Desert, California and has held prior roles at the Seattle Public Library and the King County Library System in operations, project management, reference services, and collection development. 

Fellowship Project: Analyzing community needs to develop and pilot a portfolio of library programs that support workforce and economic development goals.
