Jenny Kauffman

Jenny Kauffman is the Program Manager on the Investments & Accountability team at Stanford Impact Labs. In her role, she is responsible for the operations and management of SIL’s investment process and for driving strategic initiatives across the university to increase the impact of SIL’s grantees.

Jenny brings over a decade of experience in policy development, strategic partnerships, program operations, and project implementation. She has spent the majority of her career working for local government in the Bay Area. Most recently, she worked with a  9-county government coalition to implement an energy efficiency rebate program for multifamily housing. Previously, she worked in municipal governments, developing and managing housing and economic development initiatives. 

Jenny is excited to support SIL in building a research and development (R&D) pipeline that puts social science to work for society. She is motivated by learning and turning abstract ideas into implementable solutions. Jenny is the daughter of two Stanford alumni and grew up in Bozeman, Montana. She has a B.A. in Government from Skidmore College and now lives in Oakland with her partner and two cats.
