Jennifer Aaker

Dr Jennifer Aaker is General Atlantic Professor at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a leading expert on how purpose and meaning shape individual choices and how technology can positively impact well-being. Her work has been widely published in leading scientific journals and featured in The Economist, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic, and Science. She is the co-author of several books including the award-winning book, The Dragonfly Effect, which has been translated into over 10 languages, and more recently, the national bestseller, Humor, Seriously, focused on why and how humor can be used as a secret weapon in business and life. A recipient of the Distinguished Scientific Achievement Award, Aaker counts winning a dance-off in the early 1980s among her greatest feats.
