Hello! I’m Gina Li. I am primarily from the Economics department, but also affiliated with Health Research and Policy. This summer, I will be working on a project aimed at understanding impacts of expanding Medicaid for the population of individuals already enrolled in Medicare. I will be working on analyzing and applying for additional Medicare data. I am in contact with the state’s Medicaid and health insurance assistance program agencies and hoping to involve them in this project. This relates to my broader research agenda focusing on the design of social insurance programs, and in particular, the consequences of these programs on vulnerable populations
