The evidence of an individual's life is occasionally held within an archive, but most life histories are lost to time. This limits what is known and knowable about the past, especially as so much of what is lost are the voices of the marginalized and under-represented. Professor Treharne will work with partners to design a universal archival toolkit for the permanent preservation of peoples' stories and their documentary heritage.
