Elaine Treharne is the Roberta Bowman Denning Professor of Humanities and a Professor of English. A Welsh medievalist, she specializes in manuscript studies, archives, information technologies, and early British literature.
As a 2024-25 Stanford Impact Labs Design Fellow, Professor Treharne is collaborating with partners to design a universal archival toolkit for the permanent preservation of people's stories and their documentary heritage.
