David Franz

David Franz is Director of Community Services for the City of Shafter, California. He oversees the City’s education and downtown improvement efforts. The former educational partnership director at the Shafter Schools Project, David has a background in academic research in addition to local government management.

Fellowship Project: Building data infrastructure to link Library and Learning Center activities, to deliver more effective and targeted literacy programming.
