Carlos Pineda-Antunez

Carlos Pineda-Antunez, is a PhD student at the Comparative Health Outcomes, Policy, and Economics (CHOICE) Institute at the University of Washington. He is dedicated to advancing public health policies through contributions to the fields of health economics and decision sciences. His research primarily focuses on evaluating the feasibility and effectiveness of health prevention interventions designed to reduce the mortality burden associated with HIV, maternal health, and colorectal cancer. Currently, Carlos is developing health decision models to assess the impact of innovative health technologies and preventive screening programs, aiming to inform policy decisions and optimize health outcomes. He is an active member of the colorectal cancer group within the Cancer Intervention and Surveillance Modeling Network (CISNET) consortium.
