Occupational licensing regulations: All sides of the political spectrum have called for reform of state-level occupational licensing laws, which have been shown to harm some workers without helping consumers, but policymakers lack scientific evidence on how or where to begin these reform efforts. My goal is to provide data-driven guidelines to state policymakers.
