Residents of the U.S. Virgin Islands face limited access to their own history as tangible and intangible island heritage has been removed and relocated to institutions in the mainland United States and Denmark. Professor Ayana will explore partnerships and approaches that improve practices of stewardship, conservation, and preservation.
