Margaret Hagan is the Executive Director of the Legal Design Lab and a lecturer at Stanford Law School and the Stanford Institute of Design (the d.school). She teaches a series of project-based classes, with interdisciplinary student groups tackling legal challenges through user-focused research and design of new legal products and services.
The Lab’s recent projects include leading three rounds of the Eviction Prevention Learning Lab with the National League of Cities, auditing Google Search’s results when people search for legal help, and building an R&D community for AI and Access to Justice.
