Marcela Radtke is a postdoctoral researcher in Stanford’s Food for Health Equity Lab. Marcela’s research focuses on the intersection of nutrition and medicine using a health equity approach. She is working on various projects that implement ‘Food as Medicine’ interventions in the healthcare setting to improve diet-related chronic disease risk outcomes, such as in the experience of diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and cancer in underrepresented populations. 

Specifically, Marcela is exploring the effectiveness of medically administered dietary and/or behavioral lifestyle interventions on clinical and subclinical biomarkers of disease prevention. 

Marcela Radtke joins Stanford Impact Labs as a postdoctoral fellow from 2024-2025.
