Leah Hazard
FORMER OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Leah Hazard was the operations director at Stanford Impact Labs. She managed the team’s work to design and launch all major initiatives and programs, and to chart and achieve major strategic objectives.
Previously, Leah spent eight years in East Africa, working first as a Global Health Corps Fellow in Burundi, and then as the deputy country director for One Acre Fund scaling agricultural programming for more than 265,000 smallholder farmers in Rwanda.
Leah earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics with high honors from Lewis & Clark College, and will begin a master’s degree program in public policy at Princeton University in 2021. When not working, Leah is learning to play the banjo, running through Golden Gate Park, moonlighting as a community organizer, or exploring California’s State and National Parks.
