Kasey O’Connor

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, CALIFORNIA HOPE PROGRAM, OFFICE OF THE STATE TREASURER

Kasey O’Connor serves as Executive Director of the HOPE Program within the Office of the California State Treasurer. Prior to her appointment, O’Connor served as the Legislative Director for Treasurer Fiona Ma since Treasurer Ma took office in January 2019. 

Prior to that, she held the role of Legislative Director for then-Board of Equalization Chair Fiona Ma, where she worked on revenue and taxation issues with an expertise in cannabis tax policy. O’Connor's policy background spans veterans’ affairs, healthcare, the public employees retirement system, and environmental safety.
