Julia Spencer

Julia Spencer is the Investments Program Manager at Stanford Impact Labs. She plays a crucial role on the Investments & Accountability team, project managing the investments process and providing support to applicants as well as current impact labs.

Before joining SIL, Julia worked at Plan International where she supported the Innovation Fund, helping provide small-scale funding to innovative projects across the organization. She also led girls in information and communication technology (ICT) initiatives, facilitating youth-centered programs and pioneering a global campaign to ensure girls and young women have better access to digital skills and technology. 

Julia has a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from San Francisco State University and a Master’s Degree in International Development from the Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals. Outside of work, you’ll find her meandering up and down California and baking chocolate chip cookies.
