Hanna Yimer

Hanna is the Operations & Finance Administrator at Stanford Impact Labs (SIL). In this role, she supports the Director of People, Finance, & Administration in managing SIL’s budgets, advises on policies, processes, and procedures, and coordinates projects and events related to people, finance, and general administration.

Most recently, Hanna was the Equity Forward Anchor Network (EFAN) Program Coordinator at SIL. Equity Forward is an initiative convened by the Silicon Valley Community Foundation to close the racial wealth divide in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties. She was responsible for facilitating scheduling and backend processes essential to making the network function. Prior to joining the SIL team, Hanna was a Project Coordinator in the Office of the Chief Information Officer in Stanford University IT (UIT). In that role, she provided strategic planning, logistics support, and creative input for the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access in a Learning community (IDEAL IT) programs and the Business Affairs Racial Justice Initiative, among other projects. 

Hanna holds her A.S. in Business Administration and is currently a student at San Jose State University earning her B.A. in Business Management. She is a lover of the arts, including dance, film, and especially music. Most days, you’ll find her with an airpod in one ear as she listens to inspiring tunes while hard at work.
