Gustavo Ferreira, MD, PhD, is the Nephrologist Director of the Transplant Program at Santa Casa de Misericórdia in Juiz de Fora, Brazil. He graduated from the Department of Medicine at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (2001) before pursuing his medical residency in Internal Medicine and Nephrology at the University of São Paulo. He serves as president of the Brazilian Association of Organ Transplantation (ABTO).
