Derek Ouyang is a Research Manager at the RegLab. He spearheaded RegLab’s Covid-19 response work with the Santa Clara County Public Health Department, and currently leads work on assessing racial disparities in health outcomes, along with other local government projects. He is also Executive Director of City Systems, a Bay Area nonprofit consultancy, with a focus on affordable housing. Previously, he taught at Stanford for seven years and co-developed the Stanford Future Bay Initiative, which focuses on local climate impacts and community partnerships.
