Formed in 2002, Trabajadores Unidos Workers United (formerly known as Young Workers United) is a regional Bay Area immigrant worker center that finds itself at the intersection of economic justice and immigrant rights inclusion. TUWU centers this intersection by organizing through a working-class conscious identity, engaging its membership with a feminist economic perspective, and holding institutions and employers accountable. We do this through worker organizing, political education, know your rights outreach, and maintaining a highly engaged and active base.
