Zhengyang Wei
2025 PHD FELLOW
Improve post-disaster healthcare accessibility: Flooding in sub-Saharan Africa not only damages infrastructure but also disrupts access to essential health services, often when care is needed most. Zhengyang plans to work in partnership with the World Bank to build a more complete and accurate map of road networks, including pavement types, and to develop a data-driven decision-making tool to improve post-disaster healthcare accessibility for vulnerable communities during emergencies by informing pre-disaster investment.
