Victoria Ward, MD, is a clinical associate professor of pediatrics at Stanford University’s School of Medicine, with a research focus in pediatric global health. Dr. Ward serves as medical director for the Stanford Center for Health Education’s Digital Medic initiative, focusing on building effective digital health solutions and education for remote training and information equity in low-resource settings. She also leads clinical research efforts on maternal child health programs and technology tools to improve the impact of community health programs worldwide. She has extensive expertise in the issue of human trafficking, having implemented large-scale awareness and prevention programs, and serves as a core faculty member of the Stanford Human Trafficking Data Lab, as interim executive director of the anti-trafficking organization Made in a Free World, and as a board member of the supply chain transparency company FRDM. Clinically, she works as a pediatric hospitalist for Stanford’s Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital.
