Sameer Maithel is a clean energy and sustainability practitioner with experience in advancing energy-efficient, low-carbon solutions for buildings, materials, small industries, and urban communities. An engineer by training, he works at the intersection of technology, policy, and capacity building.
His work spans the adoption of cleaner brick kiln technologies across South Asia, promotion of energy-efficient residential buildings, and development of India’s Eco-Niwas Samhita (Energy Conservation Code for Residential Buildings). He has led initiatives in performance assessment, policy advocacy, and professional training across sectors.
