Angela is a PhD Candidate in Communication at Stanford University. She will start as an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication in Fall 2026, following her post-doctoral research at the Stanford Center for Digital Health. Her research focuses on developing interventions that help people from diverse communities navigate the benefits and challenges of new technologies. As a SIL PhD Fellow in 2021, Angela worked with the Stanford Social Media Lab to support children and teenagers in making informed decisions about their technology use.
