Angela Y. Lee is a PhD Candidate in Communication at Stanford University. Her research focuses on developing interventions that support diverse communities navigate the benefits and challenges of new technologies.
Angela was a SIL PhD Fellow in 2021, and worked with the Stanford Social Media Lab to help children and teenagers build the agency and skills needed to harness the benefits of new technologies—like social connection and incidental learning—while staying informed and resilient against risks such as misinformation and overuse.
