Marissa Reitsma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Policy at Stanford University School of Medicine. As a decision scientist, Dr. Reitsma develops computational models to quantify disease burden, evaluate the benefits and costs of interventions, and support evidence-based policy design across a range of priorities in population health, with a focus on health equity. Across all of her research, she partners with clinical, public health, and health system decision-makers to translate scholarly work into policy impact. She was a 2023 Stanford Impact Labs PhD Fellow.
