Stanford Profile
Soledad Artiz Prillaman is Assistant Professor of Political Science at Stanford's School of Humanities and Sciences and the faculty director of the Inclusive Democracy and Development Lab. Her research lies at the intersections of comparative political economy, development, and gender, with a focus in South Asia. She leads the SIL-funded Elevating Women’s Voices in Policymaking in India research project.
As a SIL Design Fellow, Prillaman conducted a research project with Saad Gulzar and partners in South Asia to design interventions that amplify the voice of women, indigenous tribes, and other marginalized populations who are underrepresented in political spaces, a gap that contributes to persistent inequalities in policy access and social outcomes.
