From Archive to Dataset: AI for Human Trafficking Evidence
Stanford's Human Trafficking Data Lab and Brazil's Federal Labor Prosecution Office are building an open-source LLM tool to turn 6,000+ siloed case files (from 60,000 victims of trafficking) into structured, research-ready data to enable real-time trend analysis and build the evidence base for anti-trafficking policy. This project, led by Grant Miller, was awarded a fast grant for AI-enabled research in 2026.
