From Science to Impact

Our investments spur research teams and their collaborators to jointly define questions, gather background information, design studies, interpret results, and scale up impact. When we invest in Stanford-led research shaped to address tangible needs in California, across the U.S., or around the world, we expect to see a return—not in money, but in outcomes that improve people’s lives.
