Maya Rossin-Slater is the Josephine Knotts Knowles Professor of Human Biology and an Associate Professor of Health Policy at Stanford University School of Medicine and an Associate Professor (by courtesy) of Economics. She is also a Senior Fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic and Policy Research, a Faculty Affiliate at the Stanford Center on Early Childhood, and a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). She is a health economist who studies issues in maternal, child, and family well-being, social safety net programs, and public policies and other factors affecting disadvantaged populations.
