Will von Geldern

Will von Geldern is an applied policy researcher and computational social scientist who uses mixed methods to study access to justice and the impacts of public policies on socially and economically marginalized communities. His recent work leverages computer vision, natural language processing, and field experiments to measure and increase take-up of legal assistance programs for tenants facing eviction. Will's work at the Rhode Center focuses on using data science and AI tools to understand litigants’ experiences in civil court and promote access to justice.
