Reducing the health impacts of air pollution
Mexico City has been grappling with air pollution for decades, with serious consequences for public health. The city has made progress and is committed to cutting pollution by another 30% by 2030, but it faces limited resources and hard choices about where to invest them. In collaboration with the Mexican government, Valeria will model the real-world impacts of different pollution-reduction strategies on health, quality of life, and economic wellbeing — so that policymakers can make better-informed decisions about which interventions to prioritize and who they actually benefit.
