Dr. Paul Nderitu is an ophthalmologist (Medical Retina Fellow) at Moorfields Eye Hospital and a Senior Research Fellow at University College London. His work focuses on developing, validating, and implementing AI systems to improve diabetic eye disease detection, prediction. This includes the development and evaluation of AI foundation models, with an emphasis on maximizing their generalizability and equity.
