Muhammad Saidur Rahman

DIRECTOR, BANGLADESH DISASTER PREPAREDNESS CENTRE

Muhammad Saidur Rahman, is Founder and Director of the Bangladesh Disaster Preparedness Centre (BDPC). He is the only Bangladeshi to have received the Certificate of Distinction under United Nations-Sasakawa Award for Natural Disaster Reduction from UNISDR in Geneva in the year 2002. He served in leadership roles with Oxfam UK in Bangladesh and Somalia, the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, and the Cyclone Preparedness Programme.
