Helena Frielingsdorf

Helena Frielingsdorf is a senior analyst and researcher at the Public Health Agency of Sweden. She is a physician-scientist with a specialization in psychiatry. Frielingsdorf has led the Swedish government commission on digital media and health together with Sara Fritzell since the agency's start in 2023, resulting in several reviews of the scientific literature as well as the development of national recommendations and guidance on safe and balanced use of digital media. Her current research includes social medicine and global mental health, with a special focus on digital media use and child health.
