Azra Ismail is an Assistant Professor in Biomedical Informatics at Emory University, and Co-Director of the Center for AI in Reproductive Health. Her research focuses on the human-centered design and evaluation of data & AI-based systems, with a special interest in global health and reproductive health. Her work aims to bridge the gap between AI research and implementation, ensuring that systems developed in the lab work in real-world contexts, and for diverse individuals and care workers.
