Center for Cancer Prevention and Control (CECAN) is a research center funded by the Chilean National Research and Development Agency (ANID) and led by the University of Chile and the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile in collaboration with a network of universities, research institutions, and cancer care providers.
CECAN aims to strengthen Chile’s response to the challenge of cancer by creating a national research platform to identify best practices for cancer risk factor surveillance, prevention, early detection, and care.
