Preeti Panda is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Stanford School of Medicine. Her work focuses on youth violence prevention, utilizing geospatial mapping, data science, and community-engaged research to explore how the built environment contributes to the risk of various forms of youth violence. She is also involved in creating an evidence base for a novel program aimed at preventing multiple forms of youth violence. Her team collaborates with interdisciplinary groups of community partners and survivors of violence to inform their projects and develop translational policy briefs based on their work.
